I may have hidden the last few chests a bit too well in Bonded Realities. I'd like to know what the guy who first discovered the warp whistle locations in SMB3 must have felt, but it'd be terrible if, even in the walkthroughs or Youtube "Let's Play"s that this game may or may not receive, nobody manages to score the elusive 100% completion prizes. And believe me, you get some good ones.
To get to 100%, you need to find all the chests, some of which are quite well hidden. I won't tell you the locations of the chests outright, because among the 100% completion prizes are Hyper Button codes (spoiler alert), and there are very few to go around, so as you can imagine I want those reserved for people who think outside the box, the sorts of people who discovered the warp whistle locations without guides.
A free game is just one of the things you may get for reaching 100%. So here's some treasure chest hints.
1) Read the tombstones outside Otho Mansion. Oswald the Adventurer's tombstone? A hint, not a joke.
2) Did you find all the rooms within Otho Mansion? Are you sure?
3) The tops of trees may block your view, but you can still walk behind them. And there may be chests or paths behind some of those trees.
4) Did you beat the extra boss in Great Dragon Road?
5) When in a cave, just because there is blackness in front of you doesn't mean that it's a dead end.
Maybe someone will finally get to 100%? We can only wait. I hope he/she writes a walkthrough when they're not busy enjoying their free copy of Hyper Button...

ReplyDeleteI've found at least 1 chest using every hint you gave but I'm still missing 1 chest. I spent 2 straight hours trying to find the last chest with no luck.

And the non random ground designs were mean...l I ran around one for a minute hoping a chest would appear in the middle. lol
Where do we use the codes? I found them all, and from this post I get that they are Hyper Button codes, but where do we input them to see if we are the first with that code?

Firefairy, open the Guide, and in one of the blades there should be an option called "Redeem Code".
